The Germans are pretty serious about their recycling habits. I'm not yet 100 percent clear on most regular trash but as for glass bottles it's pretty simple. Match the color of the bottle two one of three domes – white (clear), green, brown – and toss in your bottles. Avoid doing this on Sundays.

Marcia left for New York this week which meant I had to fend for myself. It's a lot like it was in Zurich except I know more people, I have a bike and some money in my pocket. Also, I drink beer way more. So I guess I really have a chance to do Berlin as I would do Zurich again which means making an effort to see people outside the office, drinking beer and trying out more food than just kebobs.

Around mid-week I had an invite from a friend Marcia to watch out Pacific Rim in 3D at the SoHo House. I once vowed to never watch a movie in 3D again after a bad experience, but well, why not. I made my way to the city early in the day for lunch and to mess around Mitte (kind of like Manhattan's SoHo without the galleries).
